The World War and Pigeons.
This project honours the significant role that pigeons have served in the past. Making marks was a major component of the sketching process for each distinct mark that a bird carries. Men 25 years of age and older are the target audience; with a special interest in strong, figurative designs. Considering I used a darker colour scheme, this collection might be used within a study or library space to create a calm atmosphere.
Textural features were created whilst maintaining a subtle appearance using techniques such as discharge and screen printing. Alongside the main print, a range of materials were also created, all of which have luxurious and appealing features while mostly maintaining a masculine vibe.
